Zelensky explains why Ukrainian strikes on Russia become more effective
The head of state said this during a conversation with journalists, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
“First, our drones have become more effective. Technologies are improving every day. Second, sometimes we carry out operations in which we destroy several targets, and sometimes we decide to focus on one. The Russians now have major problems with certain facilities,” Zelensky said.
He noted that Ukraine carries out retaliatory attacks after any strike on its energy sector.
“If the Russians want this to stop, they must stop their strikes, and then we will act in a mirror response,” the President said.
As previously reported, on the night of April 7, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck the Ust-Luga oil terminal in Slobodka, Leningrad region (Russia).
On April 6, drones from the SBU Special Operations Center “A” together with other components of the Defense Forces (including the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, Unmanned Systems Forces, Special Operations Forces, and the State Border Guard Service) carried out a strike on the oil-loading terminal Sheskharis in the seaport of Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Krai (Russia).
