On Sunday evening, a demonstration titled "For All Our Freedom and Security" took place in Berlin, where participants urged German politicians to increase support for Ukraine.

A large-scale rally under the slogan "Now More Than Ever: #StandWithUkraine" was held in front of the Brandenburg Gate, near the U.S. Embassy, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

The event was organized by the Ukrainian association Vitsche e.V. in cooperation with Campact e.V., a German organization focused on propaganda research, hybrid threats, etc.

Organizers stated that the rally was motivated by recent dramatic developments, including U.S. President Donald Trump distancing himself from Ukraine, growing concerns over transatlantic solidarity, and the need for Europe to take greater responsibility.

"Russia’s war of aggression threatens not only Ukraine but also security and democracy across Europe," speakers said from the stage, which featured activists, German Bundestag members from democratic parties, and cultural figures.

The speakers highlighted recent statements from the White House, warning that they mark a significant shift in security policy that directly impacts Europe. They called for a strong European response.

Participants urged Germany and its allies to substantially increase humanitarian, financial, and military aid to Ukraine, including modern weaponry, defend democracy against authoritarian threats, from Russian President Vladimir Putin to Germany's far-right AfD party, and invest in an independent, just, and sustainable European future.

"Ukraine must be recognized as an equal partner on the international stage. Weakening its position threatens Europe's stability and security," Vitsche representatives said.

They also demanded that EUR 250-300 billion in frozen Russian assets in Europe be used to finance Ukraine's defense and reconstruction.
