Seven more children were returned from Russia and TOT
This was reported in Telegram by Daria Zarivna, an adviser to the head of the Presidential Office, Ukrinform reports.
“Among them is a boy who, together with his parents, lived under occupation for a long time, survived forced passportization, psychological pressure at school and fear for his own future. His parents, wanting to give him a chance for education in a free country, decided to take their son to the government-controlled territory of Ukraine,” she wrote.
They also managed to evacuate a mother and daughter who had long remained under the surveillance of the occupation structures because of the family's pro-Ukrainian position. After her father's detention, the mother realized that any delay could be dangerous.
Zarivna expressed her gratitude to the Office of the Ombudsman of Ukraine and the State of Qatar for their assistance in organizing rescue missions and helping to return Ukrainian children.
“We will not stop until every child returns home, to safety, family and the future they deserve!” the Advisor to the Head of the Ombudsman's Office emphasized.
As reported, as of the end of February, Ukraine has returned 1,223 children out of almost 20,000 who were deported or illegally displaced by Russia.
