“We need to adapt our approaches to humanitarian work in order to ensure that donor funds have the greatest possible impact on people. Given the constraints on international funding, we need to set clear priorities and act in a coordinated manner,” she emphasized.

It is noted that to increase efficiency, a coordination platform will be established at the Office of the President. It will bring together representatives of donor countries, international and Ukrainian humanitarian organizations, state and local authorities. The goal is to coordinate priorities, plans and budgets, as well as to monitor and control the implementation of programs.

“We must act in such a way that everyone who has lost their relatives, health or homes feels the support of the state and international partners,” Vereshchuk noted.

As Ukrinform reported, Iryna Vereshchuk said that the partners understand the need to continue funding and supporting humanitarian response projects for Ukrainians affected by Russian aggression.
