Over 70 t of UN humanitarian aid delivered to Russian-occupied part of Donetsk region

More than 70 tonnes of humanitarian cargo have been delivered to the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region, the press service of the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine reports.

"On August 19, 77.5 tonnes of humanitarian cargo were delivered to the Russian-occupied part of Donetsk region of Ukraine," the report reads.

The cargo was transferred from the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

Ten trucks delivered humanitarian aid, namely construction materials, furniture, and medical supplies, through the Novotroitske checkpoint.

As Ukrinform reported, on August 13, a humanitarian cargo with a total weight of 56.6 tonnes was delivered to the Russian-occupied parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
