Ukrainian army reports a new coronavirus case over past day

The Ukrainian army has confirmed a new coronavirus case over the past day, bringing total to 45, according to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
"As of 7:00 on May 2, the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported 45 cases of the acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 30 people have recovered from the disease, two persons have died. Some 299 people have been placed in isolation (including self-isolation),” reads the report.
Over the past day, a new case was confirmed in Kharkiv region. The infected soldier is undergoing treatment at home under doctors’ supervision. The patient’s health condition is satisfactory; he has no symptoms of the disease.
As of May 2, 2020, Ukraine had 11,411 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases. Some 550 new cases were confirmed over the past day.
