Zelensky congratulates Ukrainians on Christmas Day

President Volodymyr Zelensky has congratulated Ukrainians on Christmas, wishing prosperity and peace to every family.
The head of state said this in his Christmas greeting, published on his Facebook page.
“May the year be generous with hopes and miracles fulfilled, may prosperity reign and peace come to every family! I wish everyone a delicious kutia! Christ is born! Glorify him,” the president wrote.
He also noted that the Ukrainian song Shchedryk, which became the world-famous anthem Carol of the Bells, was re-chanted in more than 150 variations.
“The Ukrainian Shchedryk gives the Christmas spirit around the world. This is the spirit of hope, kindness, expectation of a miracle and incredible unity that prevails at the table when a family gathers on Christmas Eve,” the president said.
