Government creating platform to help people with disabilities find job

The Cabinet of Ministers is creating a platform to promote the employment of people with disabilities, according to Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk.
“To support people with disabilities, we are creating a platform to ease the contact between employers and potential employees. The main focus is the access of people to working places and socio-cultural sites,” Honcharuk said, the Government portal reported.
Social Policy Minister Yulia Sokolovska stressed that people with disabilities should receive a decent level of care, and that those who are willing and able to work will have all the opportunities.
The government also stressed that people with disabilities should receive qualitative and professional training to increase their competitiveness through the introduction of education vouchers, joint training programs with the Employment Service and employers.
