Alexandra Chyczij has been re-elected President of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) for three years.

Her nomination was supported by delegates to the UCC Congress in Ottawa, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

She served as President of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress since December 2018, after then-President Paul Grod was elected President of the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC).

Alexandra Chyczij is also the Executive Director of the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association (CCCA).

Founded in Winnipeg in 1940, the Ukrainian Canadian Congress brings together under one umbrella all the national, provincial and local Ukrainian Canadian organizations. At the Triennial Congress, delegates from all organizations elect the UCC president and set priorities for future work.
