Ukraine to allocate EUR 15 mln for hosting Eurovision 2017

The Government of Ukraine has made a decision that will ensure the proper conditions for preparation and holding the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Ukraine.
This is reported by the Government portal.
"The corresponding decree No. 568-p was adopted at the Cabinet’s meeting. In particular, according to the document, the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine and the Finance Ministry of Ukraine, while preparing the draft State Budget of Ukraine for 2017, should provide the funds for holding the song contest in the amount not less than EUR 15 million," the statement reads.
