Zelensky, Estonian PM discuss NB8 preparations and diplomatic and security situation

Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine is counting on productive results.
The President thanked Estonia for its support from the very first days of the full-scale Russian invasion. The Head of State briefed the Prime Minister on the situation at the front and expressed gratitude for the kind words about Ukrainian soldiers.
“Ukraine’s position on the battlefield is now truly stronger than in previous years,” the President noted.
Zelensky and Michal also discussed diplomatic and security prospects. The leaders agreed to continue working closely on all issues, particularly security matters.
As reported by Ukrinform, the foreign ministers of the Nordic and Baltic countries (NB8), following a meeting in Estonia on April 29–30, stated that Ukraine is key to European security and the continent’s future, reaffirming their support for its accession to the EU and NATO, as well as its right to self-defense.
