Russian forces attack Druzhkivka with guided bombs and drones: Four people killed, five injured

In the city of Druzhkivka in the Donetsk region, four civilians were killed and five others injured as a result of Russian shelling.

According to Ukrinform, the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this on Telegram.

It is noted that on May 21, 2026, at 11:00, Russian troops attacked Druzhkivka with three FAB-250 bombs equipped with UMPK guidance kits. As a result of the strikes, three men aged 33, 59, and 62 were killed. Four other men sustained injuries of varying severity. The victims are receiving medical treatment, and one of them is reported to be in critical condition, prosecutors said.

The prosecutor's office also added that an hour later, Russian forces struck a moving VAZ-2107 car on one of the town's streets with an FPV drone. A 52-year-old local resident suffered fatal injuries, while a 51-year-old man was diagnosed with blast injuries, a closed head injury, and multiple shrapnel wounds.

As Ukrinform previously reported, the Russian army wounded 11 residents of the Donetsk region over the previous day.
