Zelensky and Canadian PM discuss situation on front lines and diplomatic efforts with partners

President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed diplomatic work with partners with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

According to Ukrinform, Zelensky reported this on Telegram.

“We discussed the steps necessary to end the war and diplomatic work with partners. I am grateful for their willingness to help. I informed them about the situation in Ukraine, on the front lines, and in ensuring our stability,” Zelensky said.

He especially thanked Canada for its significant contribution to the PURL program, which allows Ukraine to purchase American weapons to protect lives, in particular air defense systems.

“We will continue to coordinate with Canada and the Prime Minister,” Zelensky emphasized.

As reported by Ukrinform, Volodymyr Zelensky met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in Rome and briefed her on the work of the Ukrainian negotiating team.
