New Zealand's Defense Minister Judith Collins visited the site of Russia's June 17  missile strike on Vaclav Havel Boulevard in Kyiv.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, announced this on Telegram.

"The scale of terror unleashed by the Russians in Kyiv - one of the largest and most beautiful cities in Europe - is unprecedented. For many nations supporting us, it's only possible to fully grasp the hatred with which the Russians are destroying our country when you see the consequences with your own eyes. I am grateful to New Zealand's Defense Minister Judith Collins for her attention to our tragedy - so far from her home, yet so close to any civilized person," Tkachenko said.

He noted that on June 17, Russian forces destroyed a section of a nine-story residential building on Vaclav Havel Boulevard, named after one of the 20th century's most prominent champions of national freedom.

"Today, together with Ms. Judith, we honored the memory of those killed. Every day, every minute, we can and must tell the world the truth about the nature of our enemy. And we will continue to do so. Because truth inspires action, and action can force Russia to end this war," Tkachenko said.
