On the evening of March 7, Russian forces launched a large-scale combined attack on Dobropillia, using Iskander-M missiles, Tornado-S multiple rocket launchers, and Geran-2 drones. Initial reports confirmed 11 fatalities and 33 injuries. The Donetsk region declared a day of mourning for the victims.

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas commented on the recent Russian strikes, stating that President Vladimir Putin has once again demonstrated his lack of interest in peace.
