
Zelensky discusses with Bulgarian PM ways toward just peace for Ukraine
President Volodymyr Zelensky reported this on X, Ukrinform saw.
"I had a meaningful conversation with Bulgarian Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov and expressed gratitude for Bulgaria’s unwavering support for Ukraine. We deeply appreciate the solidarity of the Bulgarian people," he noted.
The parties discussed ways to establish a just and lasting peace for Ukraine. According to the President, its key component is effective security guarantees, which will work only if they are shared and supported by all of Ukraine’s partners.
Zelensky also briefed his couhnterpart on his recent discussions with the leaders of partner countries.
"I am grateful for Bulgaria’s willingness to work together to bring closer the day when a just and lasting peace is established in Ukraine. This unity is exactly what we need right now," the head of the Ukrainian state emphasized.
As reported, during a call with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof, Volodymyr Zelensky discussed coordination with partners and the preparation of a joint plan for achieving a just peace.
