Ukrainian air defenses down 198 Russian drones overnight
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.

Russia launched two Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles from the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region, along with 216 strike UAVs, including Shahed-type strike drones (some jet-powered), Gerbera and Italmas drones, Banderol loitering munitions, and Parodiya decoy drones.
The drones were launched from Oryol, Kursk, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from the Chauda area in occupied Crimea.
The attack was countered by Ukrainian aviation, air defense missile units, electronic warfare forces, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups.
According to preliminary data, as of 7:30 on June 5, air defenses had shot down or suppressed 198 enemy drones across northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.
Ukrainian authorities recorded impacts from 16 attack drones at 13 locations. Debris from intercepted drones fell at 12 separate locations. The two guided missiles failed to reach their intended targets.
The Air Force noted that the attack was still ongoing, with enemy drones remaining in Ukrainian airspace at the time of the report.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, Russian drones attacked Zaporizhzhia for several hours overnight, leaving 16 people injured.
