Ukraine, U.S. teams discuss future agreement

Head of the Office of the President Andrii Yermak and First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko held discussions with U.S. partners regarding a future agreement between Ukraine and the United States.

As reported by Ukrinform, Yermak announced this on Telegram.

Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration – Minister of Justice Olha Stefanishyna also participated in the talks.

The U.S. delegation was represented by Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, their respective teams, and a representative from Vice President J.D. Vance’s team.

"We are making progress in our work. It was a constructive discussion," Yermak stated.

The Head of the Presidential Office emphasized Ukraine's gratitude for bipartisan support from the United States and expressed appreciation to the American people.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, at the "Ukraine. Year 2025" forum, President Zelensky stated that any agreement on the use of Ukrainian natural resources with the U.S. must include clear security guarantees from the United States.
