Zelensky discusses security situation in Ukraine with Steinmeier

At a meeting with Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky discussed the security situation in Ukraine.

Zelensky said this in a post on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

“In Germany, I held a meeting with Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. We discussed the security situation in Ukraine, our current needs against Russian attacks on the energy sector, and the ongoing hostilities along the frontline,” noted Zelensky.

They also discussed Ukraine's expectations for the inaugural Peace Summit and reviewed the partnership between Ukrainian and German cities and communities.

“I am grateful to Germany for hosting and organizing this year's Ukraine Recovery Conference,” stressed Zelensky.

As reported by Ukrinform, on June 11, President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Germany to participate in the Ukraine Recovery Conference and negotiations with Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
