Twenty-five countries have already joined the G7 declaration which provides security guarantees to Ukraine.

"This week, the number of countries that joined the declaration agreed on in Vilnius rose to 25. Bulgaria, Estonia, Greece, Lithuania, and North Macedonia joined us this week," Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak said during the United News nationwide telethon, Ukrinform reports.

At the same time, Yermak expressed his belief that Ukraine will conclude the first bilateral agreements on security obligations, which will be a practical embodiment of the G7 declaration, by the end of 2023.

"These are absolutely specific agreements. We will not allow the repetition of the Budapest Memorandum practice which is very sad for us. That is why we have all this experience today, and that is why these will be absolutely specific agreements with absolutely specific obligations," he summarized.

As reported, the NATO Summit was held in Vilnius on July 11-12. The leaders of the Group of Seven (G7) countries agreed on the Joint Declaration of Support for Ukraine. Later, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Spain, and Sweden joined the declaration. The list continues to grow.
