Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska hopes that Great Britain will take lead in creating a special international tribunal to prosecute Russia’s war crimes.

"We know that the Ukrainian issue is constantly in the limelight of the Parliament of the United Kingdom – one of the most influential in the world. We appreciate its support and look forward to the leadership role of Great Britain in the creation of a special international tribunal. Victory cannot be complete without justice," Zelenska posted on Facebook.

The First Lady noted that she thanked Sir Lindsay Hoyle, Speaker of the House of Commons, for this immediately after her speech at the Parliament. Zelenska assured that Ukraine highly appreciates both the personal position of Sir Hoyle, who strongly condemns Russian aggression, and the constant strong support of British MPs.

"These are not only weapons that help us repel aggression and create an air shield over Ukraine. We are grateful, first of all, for consistent humanity in everything," Zelenska emphasized.
