Pro-Russian faction Opposition Platform – For Life suspends activity in Verkhovna Rada

The relevant statement was made by the members of Parliament, who were present at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In particular, Oleksiy Honcharenko, Member of Parliament from the European Solidarity faction, wrote on Telegram: “The activity of the Opposition Platform – For Life faction in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has been suspended.”

According to Oleksii Movchan, Member of Parliament from the Servant of the People faction, the Opposition Platform – For Life faction suspended its activity by a decision of the NSDC.

A reminder that the Opposition Platform – For Life faction included 44 members. After Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine started, members of Parliament began to leave the faction en masse.
