Zelensky takes part in events to commemorate fallen heroes of Ukraine

The commemoration of 223 soldiers who died for Ukraine’s freedom, independence and territorial integrity was held at the Memorial Complex of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The ceremony was also attended by Verkhovna Rada Speaker Dmytro Razumkov, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak.

In addition, events on the occasion of the fallen heroes of Ukraine will take place near the Wall of Remembrance of the St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery at Mykhailivska Square.

Kyiv City State Administration and Ukrinform will hold an online marathon entitled "Day of Remembrance" dedicated to the memory of the defenders of Ukraine who died in the struggle for the independence of Ukraine.

The Wall of Remembrance of the Fallen Defenders of Ukraine is a wall of the St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery at Mykhailivska Square in Kyiv. Photos and information about more than 4,000 servicepersons of the Armed Forces, the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police, as well as the volunteers, are posted on eleven parts of the Wall of Remembrance.
