Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has congratulated British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on the victory of his Conservative Party in the UK general election.
"I extend my warm congratulations to Boris Johnson on his landslide victory! In this crucial period for the UK, Ukraine roots for our British friends and allies’ well-being. I look forward to working closely with Boris for the benefit of our two nations and thus promote peace and prosperity in Europe," Zelensky tweeted today.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson's Conservative Party won an overall majority in Parliament in the United Kingdom elections, passing the threshold of 326 seats needed for an overall majority.
