Razumkov comments on local elections in Ukraine

Local elections in Ukraine will be held in the autumn of 2020. However, in certain territories they may take place earlier.
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov said this during a working visit to the city of Zaporizhzhia on November 20, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“Speaking about elections in general, they will take place after the completion of the decentralization reform and after the adoption of the so-called electoral code. I’m a hundred percent sure that local elections will be held in 2020, most likely in the autumn. But I do not exclude the fact that elections in certain territories may be earlier," Razumkov said.
