The number of Ukrainian citizens who are illegally kept in the occupied Donbas has increased to 126 people.

First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Gerashchenko said this in the Parliament, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"There are already 126 hostages," she said.

The Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has noted that some political forces demand that she reports on the air about the situation regarding the release of Ukrainian hostages, but they never react to calls to invite representatives of the Minsk group, the OSCE and the Normandy format to the meeting.
