Groysman: First sitting of new government to be held on Wednesday

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman wrote this on his Facebook page.

“These last few days I have been studying the situation in the country, I have held a range of meetings dedicated to finances, the economy, roads and medicines, implementation of reforms in the public service.

There are currently a huge number of tasks, but I understand that we should be efficient and quick. We are getting ready for the first meeting of the government, which will take place on Wednesday,” Groysman wrote.

According to him, he realizes how big the responsibility currently placed upon the new government and him personally is.

"I understand in what difficult conditions every Ukrainian lives today. And people would like to see very quick and efficient decisions from the government. I understand that we are facing a lot of challenges... I understand that we have little time to implement the changes. I will do everything in order to accelerate them and that these decisions can serve Ukraine, Ukrainian society,” the head of government wrote.
