Minsk-II to be implemented at full, Muzhenko hopes
KYIV, April 18 /Ukrinform/. The situation in the ATO area has stabilized, which gives hope for the implementation of the Minsk agreements and complete cease-fire.
Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko has said this in an interview, the Defense Ministry press office reports.
"I may say that situation in the ATO now is more or less stable ... This gives us a reason to hope for the implementation of the Minsk agreements, complete cease-fire and withdrawal of all kinds of weapons from the demarcation line," Muzhenko said.
According to him, Ukrainian troops respect the ceasefire, but they have to respond to attacks launched by militants. "Clearly, we bear losses under these conditions. Fortunately, they have become less recently. The number of attacks and their intensity reduces. There were no irreversible losses for the last three days," the Chief of Staff said.
