Sanctions will be imposed on all Russian nuclear industry workers coming to the captured Zaporizhzhia NPP.

"They won’t be forgiven. And they understand that, returning back to the rotation, they are already subject to sanctions simply by the fact of their stay at the power plant," Energy Minister German Galushchenko said during the United News nationwide telethon, Ukrinform reports with reference to the Ministry of Energy.

According to him, Ukraine records the names of all Russian nuclear industry workers, who come to Zaporizhzhia NPP, with the aim of imposing international sanctions against them.

In the conditions of occupation, Galushchenko noted, the ZNPP remains a potentially dangerous facility even when it is not working. He recalled the conclusion of the IAEA mission that Russia, which deployed its military and equipment at the plant, violated all seven basic principles of nuclear and radiation safety.

The minister emphasized that not only individual employees of Rosatom must bear responsibility for such actions but also the nuclear industry of the terrorist state in general.
