Minister Dubilet: PayPal not interested in Ukraine yet
"The dialogue is ongoing. The problem is not that someone forbids PayPal from working here. The problem is that they are not interested in Ukraine as a market," Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Dmytro Dubilet said in an interview with Hromadske.
According to Dubilet, Ukrainian regulation and legislation currently pose no obstacles to PayPal.
"Apparently, they [PayPal] just do not see enough potential," Dubilet said.
The minister added that Ukraine needed to economic growth to become "attractive" to PayPal. Dubilet also believes that PayPal will eventually work in Ukraine.
