NBU simplifies procedure for issuing licenses to transfer funds in national currency

Ukrinform
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has simplified the procedure for issuing licenses to non-bank institutions for transferring funds in national currency without opening accounts, eliminating the obligation of non-bank institutions to agree internal rules on funds transfer with the regulator, the central bank’s press service reported.

"From now on, the license application package must include an informative statement of the terms and procedures for providing a non-bank transfer service in the form of an established questionnaire instead of the internal transfer rules. This form of document will be clearer and more transparent to the applicant. Its preparation by the applicant and consideration by the National Bank staff will require less time," reads the statement.

The resolution comes into force on November 15, 2019.
