Government to increase financing for energy efficiency projects in 2018 – Groysman

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman says that the government will increase financing for energy saving measures in 2018.
“We should ensure the efficient use of resources. Therefore, a large-scale energy efficiency program will be reinforced in 2018. When developing the budget for second reading, we will increase financing for energy efficiency in our state. And due the mechanism of targeted subsidies we will protect those who need assistance," Groysman stated at a government meeting on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
He also stressed that Ukraine on its way to achieve energy independence had already increased gas production in 2017.
