ProZorro system saves more than three billion hryvnia - Economy Ministry

The ProZorro procurement system allowed saving UAH 3 billion for the state.
This has been reported by the Ministry of Economic Development on Facebook.
"Yesterday, the amount of the budget savings due to the ProZorro procurement system exceeded UAH 3 billion," reads a statement.
The Ministry noted that the top 5 most economical regions of Ukraine included Kyiv region (UAH 1.98 billion of savings), Odesa (UAH 239.11 million), Donetsk (UAH 174.06 million), Dnipropetrovsk (UAH 141.40 million), Lviv (UAH 91.10 million).
As a reminder, the ProZorro was launched in February 2015 in the pilot mode. In April 2016, the first stage of introducing the electronic public procurement system was started and from August 1, 2016 the use of the electronic system would be obligatory for public agencies.
