Crashed aircraft in Bangladesh owned by Ukrainian airline

AN-26 aircraft that crashed today in the waters off Bangladesh is owned by Ukrainian URGA airline. The plane was leased by local Bangladesh company True Aviation.

The press service of Antonov state-owned enterprise told Ukrinform in their comments.

"This aircraft An-26 belongs, according to our data, to Urga company and was operated by True Aviation company and now we are finding out the status of the aircraft - when it passed its last maintenance," press service said.

URGA company has confirmed this information. "They (True Aviation - ed.) are our operators", the press service of the company stated.

Recall that on March 9 the cargo plane An-26 crashed off the coast of Bangladesh.
