Columns of Russian tanks entered Luhansk region on the military line of Krasna Talivka, Milove, and Horodyshche.

Border guards, the Armed Forces, and the National Guard of Ukraine hold the fort, Ukrinform reports citing the press center of the State Border Guard Service.

"Columns of Russian tanks entered Luhansk region, on the military line of Krasna Talivka, Milove, Horodyshche... Border guards with their brothers in arms from the Armed Forces and the National Guard hold the fort," the statement reads.

As noted, the enemy insidiously shielded itself with columns of white cars with OSCE symbols. Fighting is currently under way on this frontier.

As reported, the head of the aggressor country, Vladimir Putin, announced the start of a special military operation in Donbas. At around 04:00, on February 24, Russia attacked Ukraine and launched the war. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky declared martial law in the entire territory of Ukraine. On the morning of February 24, the Verkhovna Rada approved Zelensky's decree on the imposition of martial law throughout Ukraine.
