Ukraine in OSCE states facts of Russia’s support for terrorists in Donbas
During the first day of the conference, the head of the Ukrainian delegation, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Anti-Terrorist Center at the Security Service of Ukraine Roman Fedorov delivered a speech, the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported.
“In his speech, the representative of Ukraine voiced the confirmed facts of the supply of ammunition, weapons and militants from the Russian Federation to the occupied territories of Ukraine through a section of the Ukrainian state border controlled by Russia,” the statement says.
The conference participants condemned Russia's policy aimed at supporting, financing and coordinating the activities of terrorist groups in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
On September 14-15, 2020, OSCE-Wide Counter-Terrorism Conference entitled "Effective Partnerships against Terrorism and Violent Extremism and Radicalization that lead to Terrorism" is held online in Vienna. Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Anti-Terrorist Center at the Security Service of Ukraine and the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to International Organizations in Vienna are attending the conference.
OSCE-Wide Counter-Terrorism Conference is held annually and is an important international political platform for discussing issues of national security, the fight against terrorism, radical extremism and protection of human rights.
