In the evening prior, machine-gun fire and anti-aircraft artillery explosions were heard in various districts of temporarily Russian-occupied Sevastopol during an air raid alert.

It is noted that the most intense firing occurred on the North Side, in the area of the Belbek airfield.
The Russia-installed head of the city, Mikhail Razvozhayev, reported that air defense systems were operating and stated that debris from UAVs damaged the roofs of two houses and a garage.
As reported, on the night of April 19, fighters of the "Prymary" special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine carried out successful strikes on two Russian large landing ships — the Project 775 "Yamal" and the Project 1171 "Nikolai Milchenkov," which were located in Sevastopol Bay.
