ADF neutralizes 228 of 265 Russian drones since yesterday evening

The Air Defense Forces neutralized 228 of 265 drones with which Russian invaders attacked Ukraine from the evening of May 31.

As Ukrinform reports, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Telegram.

From 18:00 on Sunday, May 31, the Russians attacked with 265 Shahed, "Gerbera," "Italmas" strike UAVs and "Parodiya" decoy drones from the directions of Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied Crimea).

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:00 on Monday, June 1, air defenses had shot down / suppressed 228 drones in northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.

Hits from 27 strike UAVs were recorded at 18 locations, as well as falls of downed drones (debris) at 12 locations.

The attack is ongoing, and enemy drones remain in the airspace.

As Ukrinform reported, five people were injured in Odesa as a result of the Russian drone attack, and infrastructure and apartment buildings were damaged.
