Russian drone attack on Odesa region leaves six people injured
As Ukrinform reports, the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleh Kiper, stated this on Telegram.
According to him, "six people were injured as a result of a massive enemy drone attack on the Odesa region. Two of the injured were hospitalized."
Residential and industrial infrastructure came under attack.
In Odesa, an enemy UAV hit the first floor of a high-rise building. As a result of the strike, apartments, the facade, and balconies from the 1st to the 4th floors were partially destroyed. Windows and parked cars nearby were also damaged. Two residents were injured.
Three more people were injured as a result of a Russian drone hitting residential buildings and destroying apartments, followed by a fire.
Hits were also recorded in warehouse premises, a grain hangar, and an unused administrative building. One person was injured.
All relevant services are working at the scene. Elimination of the aftermath of the enemy attack is ongoing. The injured are receiving all necessary medical care, Kiper stressed.
As Ukrinform reported, the Air Defense Forces neutralized 228 of 265 drones with which Russian invaders attacked Ukraine from the evening of May 31.
