Russian attack on Chernihiv region leaves 40,000 customers without power

In Chernihiv, 40,000 electricity customers have been left without power as a result of a Russian attack.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by JSC Chernihivoblenergo on Telegram.

"As a result of an enemy attack on an energy facility in the Chernihiv district, 40,000 customers in the city of Chernihiv have been left without electricity," the statement said.

Energy workers are currently working to restore power supplies.

As Ukrinform previously reported, on May 26, three facilities belonging to the DTEK Group in the Dnipropetrovsk region were damaged by Russian strikes.
