One killed, nine injured as Russian forces launch nearly 40 attacks on Dnipropetrovsk region

One woman was killed and nine other people were injured as a result of Russian attacks across the Dnipropetrovsk region on Sunday.

Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"One person was killed, nine were injured. The enemy attacked four districts of the region nearly 40 times using UAVs, artillery, and an aerial bomb," the official said.

In the Pokrovske and Vasylkivka communities, Synelnykove district, residential apartment buildings and vehicles were damaged. Five people were injured, including three women who were hospitalized in moderate condition.

In the Nikopol district, the cities of Nikopol as well as the Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivka, Pokrovske, and Tomakivka communities, came under fire. Infrastructure, a school, a residential building, an administrative facility, a fuel station, and vehicles were damaged. A 50-year-old woman was killed, and four people were injured, including two men in serious condition.

The Hruzhivka community in the Kryvyi Rih district was also targeted by Russian forces.
