Russians strike Kharkiv, fire breaks out, casualties reported
According to Ukrinform, Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
“The Russian army struck the Novobavarskyi district of Kharkiv with UAVs. A fire broke out at the impact site. We are investigating all the circumstances,” the post reads.
It later became known that a kiosk was on fire.
As of 11:20 a.m., four people, including one child, sought medical assistance, Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported.
He stated that at least 10 buildings were damaged, and a car was burned.
According to Syniehubov, a 70-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction; a 60-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman also sought medical attention but were not hospitalized.
As previously reported, on May 6, two men were injured in the Saltivskyi district of Kharkiv as a result of a Russian drone strike.
