Russian drones attack civilian cars in Sumy region, leaving one dead and two wounded

On the morning of March 7, Russian drones attacked civilian cars in the Sumy region, killing a 24-year-old man and wounding two others.

According to Ukrinform, Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.

“Unfortunately, this morning in the Sumy region brings more tragic news. The Russians are deliberately attacking civilian transport,” Hryhorov wrote.

According to him, in the Stepanivka community, an enemy UAV targeted a civilian car at a gas station. The car caught fire. A 24-year-old man who was behind the wheel died at the scene. A 22-year-old passenger managed to get out of the car. He was taken to the hospital with severe burns.

In the Hlukhiv community, the Russians also targeted a civilian car with a drone, injuring a 47-year-old man. He was hospitalized, and doctors are providing the necessary assistance.

As reported, Russian troops shelled settlements in four districts of the Sumy region over the past day, injuring four people.
