Residential building damaged in Russian drone attack on Kryvyi Rih, casualties reported

A five-storey residential building in Kryvyi Rih was damaged during a Russian drone attack; there are casualties.

This was reported on Telegram by Head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council Oleksandr Vilkul, according to Ukrinform.

“Kryvyi Rih: a Shahed drone struck a five-storey building. At the moment, there is one lightly injured person. Structurally, the building is visibly damaged, with many broken windows,” Vilkul wrote.

A relief headquarters has been set up near the damaged building, and construction materials are expected to be delivered.

Later, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Hanzha reported an increase in the number of casualties.

“There are now two people injured in Kryvyi Rih as a result of the enemy attack. An 82-year-old woman also sought medical assistance,” Hanzha said.

He added that since the evening, the enemy had carried out nearly 20 attacks on two districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region using drones and artillery. In the Zelonodolsk community of the Kryvyi Rih district, solar panels were damaged. In the Nikopol district, the Russians struck the district center, as well as the Marganets and Pokrovske communities, damaging private houses and cars.
