Russians attack Kherson with MLRS, eight people injured

Last night, Russian troops fired multiple rocket launchers at the central part and the Korabelnyi district of Kherson, injuring eight people.

According to Ukrinform, the Kherson Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram.

“As a result of numerous strikes, houses, shops, and restaurants were damaged. At this moment, eight women are known to have been injured, some of whom had to be rescued from under the rubble,” the report said.

Five of the victims received assistance and continue to receive outpatient treatment, while three are in a medical facility.

According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, on February 7, 2026, at 11 p.m., for almost an hour, the Russians carried out continuous artillery shelling of the Central and Korabelnyi districts of Kherson.

“Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code),” the prosecutor's office said.

As reported by Ukrinform, Kherson was subjected to enemy artillery shelling, and three women were wounded.
