Partisans disable substation in Russia’s Bryansk region
According to Ukrinform, ATESH reported this on Telegram.
An agent of the movement carried out a sabotage operation in an industrial zone of the Volodarsky district (the settlement of Velyke Polpino), disabling equipment at the electrical substation, the statement said.
The substation is a vital link for Russia’s military machine. It supplies power to the Polpinskaya railway station, through which trains carrying ammunition and military equipment head to the front.
The power outage causes malfunctions in automated systems and leads to serious supply delays.
The substation also provides electricity to local enterprises, including the Bryansk Repair Plant and others working for the needs of Russia’s Ministry of Defense, as well as to fuel storage facilities. As a result of the blackout, these sites were left without power, causing problems with pumps and security systems.
As Ukrinform previously reported, agents of the ATESH partisan movement set fire to a communications tower belonging to an air defense unit in the Moscow region.
