War update: 32 clashes on front line since morning, with highest activity in Pokrovsk sector
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Facebook, releasing operational information as of 16:00 on Thursday, April 23,
Russian artillery struck Khrinivka in the Chernihiv region, as well as Bachivsk, Iskryskivshchyna, Volfyne, Korenok, Atynske, Studenok, Kysla Dubyna, Ryzhivka, and Ulanove in the Sumy region.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian forces carried out 40 shelling attacks on settlements and Ukrainian positions, including one using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian troops conducted one attack toward Zelenе.
In the Kupiansk sector, they attacked four times toward Radkivka, Podoly, and Hlushkivka, with one clash still ongoing.
In the Lyman and Kramatorsk sectors, no offensive actions were recorded today.
In the Sloviansk sector, Russian forces carried out one attack toward Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, six attacks took place near several settlements, with two clashes still ongoing.
The most intense fighting is in the Pokrovsk sector, where Russian troops made 11 attempts to push Ukrainian forces from their positions in several areas; two clashes are still underway.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian forces launched two attacks.
Russian aviation also struck Prosiana and conducted airstrikes across multiple areas on the Huliaipole sector, where Ukrainian defenders repelled five enemy assaults.
No offensive actions were recorded on the Orikhiv sector, though airstrikes were carried out.
In the Prydniprovske sector, Russian forces conducted two unsuccessful assault attempts toward the Antonivskyi Bridge and Bilohrudyi Island.
In other sectors of the front, the situation has not significantly changed, and no new enemy advances were recorded.
As reported, Russian forces are redeploying a significant number of units to northern Donetsk region from the Huliaipole axis.
