Zelensky holds Staff meeting: PURL program needs to be filled, efforts made in January are insufficient
Zelensky said this in his evening video address, Ukrinform reports, citing his Telegram channel.
Zelensky said that the meeting focused on key defense issues, including air defense missiles, the production of interceptors, and all necessary supplies, as well as contracts and financing, noting that Ukraine is fully ensuring these processes.
He emphasized the importance of the real and timely implementation of all agreements reached with Ukraine's partners.
According to Zelensky, the PURL program requires additional input, and the work done in January has not yet been enough. He noted that this task concerns the entire diplomatic team, including both the Office of the President and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
As Ukrinform reported, the Netherlands and its allies are proposing to allow at least EUR 15 billion from an aid package to be spent on purchasing weapons from the United States or other countries outside the European Union.
