Zelensky, Stubb discuss Europe–U.S. political relations
The Ukrainian President reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform says.
“I spoke with President of Finland Alexander Stubb. As always, it was a thorough conversation about the diplomatic situation and all of the options now on the table in negotiations, as well as the broader political context between Europe and America. It is crucial that we do not lose what unites us and that we work together for the results needed not just by someone alone, but by all of us in the Transatlantic. We discussed possible formats for further meetings and talks,” Zelenskyy wrote.
The President also informed his Finnish counterpart about the consequences of Russian strikes and Ukraine’s capacity for defense and recovery. Zelensky expressed gratitude for the support provided.
As reported earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a conversation with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof that Russia is currently focused on destroying lives rather than diplomacy, targeting Ukraine’s energy sector.
