Ukrainian SOF capture Russian spotter in Kupiansk
Ukrinform
Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces have detected and captured a Russian invader who had been hiding in the town of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region and was directing strikes against Ukrainian defenders.
The Special Operations Forces Command reported this on Facebook, releasing a corresponding video, Ukrinform said.
Radio intercepts clearly indicated the presence of a “rat” in one of the town’s districts.
The occupier constantly changed locations and remained in hiding. Due to dense urban development, a large number of shelters, and numerous potential firing positions, locating him proved difficult.
As a result of meticulous work, an SOF group was able to establish the spotter’s whereabouts and take him prisoner.
As reported by Ukrinform, Ukrainian defenders recently captured another Russian serviceman who had been hiding in the village of Lyman in the Kharkiv region.
